We have three scholarship programs that are always in need of community support: Music , Educational Resource, and Athletic Resource Fund Scholarships.
The Music Scholarship Fund provides support to lower school music students (grades 3-8) to receive private music lessons, instrument rentals, and instrument repairs. Checks can be made to the “SMWS Music Scholarship Fund” and sent to the Development Office. The Educational Resource Scholarship Fund supports our lower and high school students who need additional tutoring or services to support their educational experience that cannot be provided by Shining Mountain. This fund provides the necessary support for many of these students to remain at Shining Mountain while receiving the help they need to succeed in school. Checks can be made to the “Educational Resource Scholarship Fund”.
The Athletic Resource Fund supplements our Middle School and High School Athletic programs by reducing participation fees, increasing outside coach’s salaries, and providing travel reimbursement to our coaches and students when they travel long distances for competitions and tournaments.
