We are moving into our third school year of navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. We have learned to be flexible and forgiving. Here is our 2021/22 COVID Operating Plan.

We are committed to offering full days, and full weeks of school instruction on campus, whenever possible.

We are working to ensure that our students will be the least affected by the changes we need to make. This means that adults will carry the extra work and care as much as possible, so that students will have the opportunity to learn, play, socialize, and enjoy their childhood.

As you read through these plans, please remember that they are based on everything we know as of today. This is a living document. As we receive community input and updated guidance from the State of Colorado, the County of Boulder and our licensing partners, our understanding and planning will develop. We will continue to update the operating plan as information shifts and we respond to circumstances in Boulder county and the state of Colorado. We are working as a coordinated group of faculty, administrators, and Board of Trustees to be ready for whatever is needed to operate the school safely for in-person learning across the grades with heart and warmth in the 2021/22 school year.

We appreciate all that our families have done over the last year and a half to work in partnership with the faculty and administration of Shining Mountain to support our programs and in-person learning for their students during the many months of the pandemic.
